What can I say?! A-Bombers Old Style Weekend is one of, if not, the greatest events I have ever been to! The vehicles, people and atmosphere is unique.. The fifties all over again..The event takes place at old military storage facilities in Backamo just outside Uddevalla in Sweden. For fourteen years the car & motorcycle club A-Bombers have been arranging this event. In the inner circle, or main site if you like, the age limit for cars and bikes is 1956 and older! That sets the standard for the area and the atmosphere.. The ongoing music with a rockabilly flare doesn’t make it any less authentic! On Saturday some of the bikes and cars have the chance to participate in an old style hill climb race at Devils Peak. This gathers hundreds or even thousands of spectators in the hills of Uddevalla.
